A proper seal is necessary so that the gas concentration can get high enough to kill the insects. The stack is isolated for 7-14 days, depending on the severity of the contamination.
Chamber Fumigation
During this process, the gas is pumped directly into a specially designed chamber. This is to allow the fumigation process to be carried out in a much safer and more efficient way.
